Cancellation & Deposit

    Did you know Instyle Hair &Beauty is a family run small local business that only has a limited number of appointments available? The time allocated for your appointment is reserved for you.

    When you book an appointment with Instyle Hair & Beauty they guarantee you this time and appoint a fully qualified and highly experienced professional to take care of your needs.

    Our goal at Instyle Hair & Beauty is to provide a quality service in a timely manner. In order to do this we have implemented the following policies.

    As a new client when booking an appointment you will be required to pay a deposit fee, details of
    which are as follow: 


    Your deposit is not an extra charge it is simply held on an account for you on your booking and taken off your final bill. Please be aware that the only way you would ever loose your deposit is if you cancel your scheduled appointment within 24hrs, don't show up for your appointment or are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment.

    To ensure the return of your deposit please advise Instyle Hair & Beauty on 8932 2602, 24hrs prior
    to your appointment if you need to cancel or re-schedule otherwise you will forfeit your deposit.
    This minimum cancellation period will give your hairdresser a fair opportunity to fill your vacated

    If you are using a gift voucher 50% of the voucher will be charged if the cancellation is received with
    less than 24hrs notice. 

    For your convenience Instyle Hair & Beauty do have answering services outside salon hours so you
    can call anytime. 

    Hair salons like Instyle Hair & Beauty find it almost impossible to fill cancelled spots at short notice.
    Last minute cancellations do have a significant impact on Instyle Hair & Beauty their clients and
    team. We have found that the deposit policy is the fairest way of managing commitment to
    appointments and it also has the added benefit of keeping our costs down for our wonderful clients.

    Reminder Service

    We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 24 hours prior to your appointment. On
    receipt of this text, we ask that you confirm ‘y’ for Yes or cancel with ‘N’ for No. Instyle Hair &
    Beauty reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments. ‘No shows” will be required to
    pay deposits for all future appointments.

    Appointment Times

    You must arrive on time to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for. If you are
    running late, please let us know – we will do everything we can to accommodate you, however,
    please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to
    complete the whole service, in which case you will need to make another booking.

    Responsibility for Children & Personal Items

    For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children are accompanied by adults at all times, and carefully monitored. Even though we take as much care as possible, please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client. Any breakages or damage of salon items or products will
    incur a cost to you the client.

    Privacy Policy

    Instyle Hair & Beauty monitors the privacy and confidentiality of personal information and ensures
    compliance to all relevant legislative and moral requirements by instilling discipline in all aspects of
    our business.

    Our objective is to protect and maintain the privacy, and security of your personal information in
    accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. The Privacy Act contains a set of standards for the handling of your personal information known as the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). Personal information
    collected by Instyle Hair & Beauty generally comprises name, address, contact details and certain
    financial information. The National Privacy Principles require Instyle Hair & Beauty not to store
    personal information longer than necessary. We are committed to the privacy and protection of
    your information.
