HOW TO PREPARE FOR A STYLING APPOINTMENT

BLOW-DRY APPOINTMENTS – Come with your unwashed hair to your appointment. We will wash your hair using the appropriate shampoo and conditioner to suit your hair and hair style.

Bring your inspiration photos with you to your appointment. Be sure to communicate your type of blow-dry preferences with your hair stylist during the consultation process prior to your wash and blow-dry. If you are unsure with the style, you can always send us photos on our social media channels include a photo of your hair to see if it is achievable.

Discuss the time of day of your event with your hair stylist, if it is indoors or outdoors so we can give you some tips and practices to make help your hair style last for the event.

Darwin has a hot, humid and rainy climate and is not kind to our hair and hair styles during the months from October to May. The dry season (event season) runs from May to August you will notice a difference in your hair. Your blow-dry, curls and style will last much longer this time of year.

We suggest after having your hair styled to stay in air conditioning, out of wind and try to remain a cool body temperature with no sweating for as long as possible prior to your event.

UP-STYLE APPOINTMENTS – Wash your hair the day before your appointment, slightly dirty hair holds styles better than freshly washed hair. Do not apply any styling products on your clean hair.

Wear a button up top for easy removal once your hair has been styled

If you are having make-up done this can be done before or after your hair appointment

Please advise the salon prior to your appointment if you are wanting us to put in any hair pieces or clip in hair extensions. As we will need more time and there will be an extra cost for this.

Bring with you any inspiration photos with you to your appointment or send them through to us on our social media (Facebook or Instagram) with a photo of your hair so we can advise that the style you are liking is achievable with your hair.
